Ozone Day was celebrated at Presentation Convent High School on 24th September 2016.
A debate was organised by the science teachers of the school alongwith the B.Ed teacher trainee on the topic "DEPLETING OZONE LAYER".
The 2 panel of speakers were named as "Eco Achievers " and "Industrial GoGetters" respectively.
The speakers spoke confidently and provided the latest updates about the topic.
Brilliant work done by u all...as we all know how important the ozone layer is..and debates on such topics creates awareness in young minds..and also in d nonscience students..as I can see the competition was conducted in the auditorium in front of huge crowd unlike competitions in single classroom...so this is really impactful I would say...by any chance do you hv recording of the debate?
ReplyDeleteHello Gulnar, thank u so much for your valuable comment, unfortunately I don't have a recording of this event.Like you said it actually created an awareness among the students who had least interest in science. The audience too showed great interest and suggested measures to be taken to protect the ozone layer depletion.

Yes Rui, they seemed to have an updated knowledge about the topic.They had so many points to discuss and debate upon. we were impressed by their performance and love that they show towards protection of the environment.
